Biography

Josie graduated from University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Politics and promptly was accepted at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was a member of the Student Bar Association and served as the Orientation Program Director. During her time as an undergrad at the University of Maryland, Josie served as Chair of the Facilities Student Advisory Subcommittee, where she oversaw a two-million-dollar budget for giving funding to facilities improvement projects across campus. Josie was also the Executive Editor of The University of Baltimore Law Review Volume 54 and published the legal comment: “Demolition by Neglect: “Razing the Bar to Prevent Mishandling of Historic Properties” in the April 2025 edition.

Josie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law as a member of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society. In 2025, Josie was sworn in to the Maryland Bar.
